Removal, skim coat, primer and paint all come in one job, so every Sandy Springs room we touch is finished when we leave.
About / Value Proposition
A scraped ceiling isn't a finished one. With us, removal and refinishing are a single job: the room sealed and the floors covered, the popcorn taken down, the rough drywall skim-coated or lightly textured, then primed and painted. You won't be left lining up a painter afterward, whether the house is close-in near City Springs or on a wooded lot along the Chattahoochee. We close out with a walkthrough of every ceiling, touching up anything you point out.
Our popcorn ceiling removal comes with a 5-year workmanship warranty.

How we work
In Sandy Springs, one team handles the whole ceiling, from the quote to the last coat of paint.
We measure each ceiling and leave a clear, written quote with removal, skim coat, primer and paint all included.
The room is sealed with plastic and the floors covered, then the popcorn comes down and the drywall is skim-coated or lightly textured.
We prime and paint the ceiling, clean up, and walk every room with you before calling it done.
Brands We Trust
We work with industry-leading paints and materials for a durable, high-quality finish.
“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.”

Yes. Sandy Springs is one of our regular service areas, and we schedule popcorn ceiling removal year-round. Sandy Springs mixes dense in-town homes with wooded riverside lots. Both get heavy spring pollen and humid summers, so we plan exterior work for the drier late-spring-to-fall window.
Residential work is permitted through the City of Sandy Springs. Popcorn Ceiling Removal projects rarely need a permit on their own, but we confirm before scheduling so nothing stalls mid-job.
Yes. We cover all of Sandy Springs and the surrounding Fulton County, including City Springs, Riverside, Sandy Springs Heights, High Point, in ZIP codes 30328, 30342, 30350, 30319. Send us your address and we'll confirm the schedule for your area.
Square footage, ceiling height, whether the popcorn was ever painted, and the finish you want afterward (smooth or a light texture) set the price. The estimate is free and itemized.
It might, if the texture went up before the mid-1980s. A sample should be tested before any scraping. If it comes back positive, removal is a job for a licensed abatement contractor, not a renovation crew.
Removal is wet and dusty work, which is why the room is sealed with plastic, floors and anything left in place are covered, and everything is cleaned up when we finish.
Under the popcorn there is usually rough drywall, so the ceiling is skim-coated and sanded smooth, or given a light texture if you prefer, then primed and painted.
Section / About
For more than ten years, our specialty for Sandy Springs homeowners has been popcorn ceiling removal that doesn't stop at the scraper. The ceiling is skim-coated or lightly retextured, then primed and painted, so you get a finished room backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty.
Calling a job done once the texture is on the floor leaves you with a rough, unpainted ceiling and another contractor to hire. We see it through to the last coat and the final walkthrough in every Sandy Springs home.
