The siding material, how many boards are damaged, what caused the damage, and whether the repair has to be painted to match set the price. The estimate is free and itemized, so every repair is its own line.
Wood lap and panel siding, fiber cement such as James Hardie, vinyl, and engineered wood such as LP SmartSide. Each one is repaired with matching material and the fasteners and sealant made for it.
Usually. We match the profile, the exposure (how much of each board shows), and the texture, then prime and paint painted siding to blend in. If a profile is no longer made, we show you the closest options before ordering.
When the damage is limited to some boards, replacing those boards is the repair. When it is spread across whole walls, keeps showing up in new places, or water has reached the wall behind it, replacement starts to make more sense. We tell you which one you are looking at.
Moisture does most of it: humidity, gutters that overflow onto the wall, sprinklers that hit the siding every day, and caulk that has failed. Storms, falling branches, and stones thrown by mowers and trimmers do the rest.
Yes. A cracked or loose vinyl panel can be unlocked from the panels around it and replaced on its own, and we bring samples to match the color as closely as possible.
If the sheathing or framing behind it is wet or rotted, it has to be repaired before new siding goes on. We open the area, show you what we find, and price it before going further. The work carries a 5-year workmanship warranty.
