Yes, once it is cleaned. The gray is a layer of weathered wood fibers and mildew, and stain laid over it peels and fades early. We wash the fence back to sound wood and let it dry before staining.
Semi-transparent lets the grain show and wears by slowly fading, which makes the next coat easy. Solid hides mismatched or replaced boards and holds its color longer, but it builds a film that needs prep like paint later on. We help you choose by the condition of the wood.
Late spring through fall, after the spring pollen settles, with dry wood and a few dry days ahead. We schedule around the forecast so rain never lands on fresh stain.

Yes. Loose boards are refastened and broken or rotted ones replaced before any stain goes on, each priced in the estimate. A post that leans or has rotted at the base is pointed out so you can decide what to do with it. The work carries a 5-year workmanship warranty.
