About / Value Proposition
Turn a plain window into everyone's favorite seat
Smyrna's close-in neighborhoods are thick with trees, and the window that looks out on them deserves more than a curtain. We build window seats with a cushion-ready top, drawers or lift-up lids below, and bookcases rising on either side, all fitted around the casing, the sill, and any outlets underneath. In a Jonquil bedroom or a Vinings den, we match the trim profile and paint it so the wall reads as one piece instead of furniture pushed under the glass.

How we work
Excellence in every stroke
In Smyrna, a window seat starts with the window itself: its width, its sill height, and what sits below it.
Free on-site estimate
We measure the window, the wall around it, and any outlets in the way, then send a drawing with a free, itemized estimate.
Seat & shelves
We build the bench and side shelving to those measurements and fit them snug against the casing and sill.
Paint & cleanup
We paint it to match your trim, clean up at the end of every day, and walk the finished nook with you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to the most common questions
Do you work on homes across Smyrna?
Yes. Smyrna is one of our regular service areas, and we schedule built-ins year-round. Smyrna's close-in, tree-heavy neighborhoods get dense spring pollen and humid summers, so we time exterior painting for late spring through fall and use moisture-tolerant finishes.
Who permits residential work in Smyrna?
Residential work is permitted through the City of Smyrna. Built-ins projects rarely need a permit on their own, but we confirm before scheduling so nothing stalls mid-job.
Do you serve my neighborhood in Smyrna?
Yes. We cover all of Smyrna and the surrounding Cobb County, including Smyrna Market Village, Vinings, Jonquil, in ZIP codes 30080, 30082, 30126. Send us your address and we'll confirm the schedule for your area.
How much do custom built-ins cost?
Size, materials, the number of doors and drawers, and any lighting or outlets set the price. You get a drawing and a free, itemized estimate before anything is built.
What can you build?
Bookcases, entertainment walls, window seats, mudroom benches and lockers, closet storage, and shelving around fireplaces or windows, or anything else that should fit the wall instead of standing in front of it.
Why built-ins instead of store-bought furniture?
They fit the exact space (floor to ceiling, wall to wall, around windows and outlets) and look like part of the house rather than furniture pushed against it.
Do you design them, or do I need a plan?
Bring a photo or an idea and we take it from there: we measure, propose a layout and finish, and you approve it before we build.

Local Built-ins Experts You Can Trust
We've worked for Smyrna homeowners for more than ten years, and we specialize in window seats and the built-ins that frame them. That means a bench with storage below, shelving that climbs beside the glass, and trim that matches the casing, so the window looks designed that way from the start.
A box set under a window that buries an outlet or crowds the sill ends up torn out later. We plan around every outlet and every edge of the casing before we build anything, so the seat fits the window it was made for in your Smyrna home.
