“They repaired the dry wall in my basement. He always called ahead and kept me informed of the progress. The wall looked like new when he finished. I highly recommend him.””
Cracks that run up from the corners of doors and windows come back if they're only filled. We retape them so they stay closed.
About / Value Proposition
Diagonal cracks that start at the corner of a door or window frame are common as a house settles and the seasons change. In Legacy Park and Downtown Kennesaw homes, a quick fix tends to fail the same way: the crack is filled, painted, and back before long. That's because those corners move. We cut the crack out, embed new tape, build the joint back up with compound in thin coats, and feather it smooth, so it can take the movement. Then we match the texture and repaint.
Our drywall repair comes with a 5-year workmanship warranty.

Yes. Kennesaw is one of our regular service areas, and we schedule drywall repair year-round. Kennesaw sees the same humid summers and intense spring pollen as the rest of north Cobb, so we schedule exterior work for the drier late-spring-through-fall window and prep surfaces thoroughly for adhesion.
Residential work is permitted through the City of Kennesaw, or through Cobb County for unincorporated addresses. Drywall Repair projects rarely need a permit on their own, but we confirm before scheduling so nothing stalls mid-job.
Yes. We cover all of Kennesaw and the surrounding Cobb County, including Downtown Kennesaw, Legacy Park, in ZIP codes 30144, 30152, 30156. Send us your address and we'll confirm the schedule for your area.
How many holes or cracks there are, how big they are, whether the texture has to be matched, and how much of the wall needs repainting set the price. The estimate is free and itemized.
Nail holes and small dents are filled. Doorknob holes and larger damage get a piece of new drywall cut in, backed, taped, and finished. Only sections that are soaked, moldy, or crumbling need a larger replacement.
Not when it is finished right. The patch is feathered out wide, the texture is matched to the wall, and the area is primed before paint. Touching up just the patch usually shows, so we repaint the wall corner to corner when it needs it.
Those corners move as the house settles and the seasons change, and a crack that was only filled with spackle opens again. We cut it out, embed new tape, and finish it so the joint can take the movement.
Section / About
For more than ten years we've worked on Kennesaw homes, and we're straight with homeowners about cracks: most of the ones around doors and windows are cosmetic, and a wide or growing crack is worth a closer look. We'll tell you which kind you have.
Spackle and paint over a settling crack look fine for a few weeks. Then the house moves and the line comes back. We retape the joint so it can flex, and your Kennesaw walls stay smooth.
