“They repaired the dry wall in my basement. He always called ahead and kept me informed of the progress. The wall looked like new when he finished. I highly recommend him.””
With the new floor down, the baseboards go on last, set on the finished surface and closed tight over the expansion gap.
About / Value Proposition
Baseboards belong after the flooring, never before. Once the new floor is down, we set the trim on its finished surface, so the boards hide the expansion gap along each wall and close tight to the floor. That sequence holds in every house we trim, from Downtown Kennesaw to Legacy Park and the streets around Swift-Cantrell Park. Each run is measured, coped at the inside corners, fastened into the framing, caulked, and painted, and the room that looked almost done finally looks finished.
Our baseboard work comes with a 5-year workmanship warranty.

How we work
Once the new floor is down in your Kennesaw home, the baseboards follow in three steps.
We measure the runs, look over the new floor, and write up an itemized quote with painting as its own line.
With the floor finished, each board sits on its surface over the expansion gap and is fastened into the framing.
The trim is caulked and painted in place, the work area is cleaned daily, and we walk the rooms with you at the finish.
Brands We Trust
We work with industry-leading paints and materials for a durable, high-quality finish.
“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.”

Yes. Kennesaw is one of our regular service areas, and we schedule baseboards year-round. Kennesaw sees the same humid summers and intense spring pollen as the rest of north Cobb, so we schedule exterior work for the drier late-spring-through-fall window and prep surfaces thoroughly for adhesion.
Residential work is permitted through the City of Kennesaw, or through Cobb County for unincorporated addresses. Baseboards projects rarely need a permit on their own, but we confirm before scheduling so nothing stalls mid-job.
Yes. We cover all of Kennesaw and the surrounding Cobb County, including Downtown Kennesaw, Legacy Park, in ZIP codes 30144, 30152, 30156. Send us your address and we'll confirm the schedule for your area.
Linear footage, the height and profile you choose, the material, and whether old trim comes off first set the price. Painting is its own line in the free, itemized estimate.
After. The floor goes in first and the baseboards sit on the finished surface, covering the expansion gap and closing tight to the floor.
Yes. New baseboards are caulked and painted in place, and we also repaint existing baseboards as a job on its own.
MDF is smooth and economical for painted trim in dry rooms. In bathrooms, laundry rooms, and anywhere floors get mopped, solid wood or PVC holds up better to moisture.
Section / About
We've been serving Kennesaw homeowners for more than ten years, and our specialty is the trim that completes a new floor: baseboards set on the finished surface, coped at the corners, fastened into the framing, and caulked and painted so the edge of every room is clean.
Putting baseboards in before the floor can leave the expansion gap exposed or a trim line that never closes to the floor. We wait for the finished floor and fit each board down onto it. That's the order we follow on every Kennesaw job.
