Shiplap ceilings and vertical accent walls that draw the eye upward and make the ceiling feel higher.
About / Value Proposition
Shiplap doesn't have to stop at the walls. Run across a ceiling, it turns the flattest surface in the room into a finished one, and vertical boards on the walls below carry the line upward. In Windward and Crabapple homes, we lay ceiling boards straight and evenly gapped, fasten each one into the framing above the drywall, and cut cleanly around light fixtures and vents. Then we paint it white or a soft color, gaps included, so the whole Alpharetta room looks finished from floor to ceiling.
Every shiplap job we do is backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty.

How we work
Overhead work leaves no room for a wandering line, so every Alpharetta ceiling we take on starts with layout.
We measure the ceiling, mark every light fixture the boards must work around, and give you a clear, written quote.
We snap a straight starting line, then fasten each board into the framing with even gaps from wall to wall.
We paint the boards and gaps together, clean up, and walk the room with you at the end.
Brands We Trust
We work with industry-leading paints and materials for a durable, high-quality finish.
“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.”

“They came highly recommended by friends. They did an outstanding quality of a painting job for us! Super-neat, accurate and professional. It was a lot of rooms to work on and they finished it all in one day! I read in another review that he has got very competitive prices and they gave us the best quote out of all other companies, too. We are so glad we met Sergio and his team because they do all kinds of other jobs [...]”

Yes. Alpharetta is one of our regular service areas, and we schedule shiplap year-round. Many Alpharetta communities have active HOAs with approved exterior color palettes. We match the spec and handle the approvals. Humid summers and spring pollen make late spring through fall the best time for exterior painting.
Residential work is permitted through the City of Alpharetta, and HOA approval is often required before exterior color changes. Shiplap projects rarely need a permit on their own, but we confirm before scheduling so nothing stalls mid-job.
Yes. We cover all of Alpharetta and the surrounding Fulton County, including Downtown Alpharetta, Avalon, Windward, Crabapple, in ZIP codes 30004, 30005, 30009, 30022. Send us your address and we'll confirm the schedule for your area.
Wall size, the material, the direction of the boards, and how many outlets, windows, or a fireplace the boards work around set the price. The estimate is free and itemized.
Pine shiplap has real grain and suits a natural or stained finish; MDF is smooth, stable, and ideal for a painted wall; plywood strips are the budget option for a painted look.
Yes. The boards go over the drywall and are fastened into the studs behind it, so nothing has to be torn out.
Horizontal boards make a room feel wider; vertical boards draw the eye up and make a ceiling feel higher. Both are installed the same way.
Section / About
In more than ten years of serving Alpharetta homeowners, we've specialized in shiplap that goes overhead as well as on the wall: ceilings laid straight with even gaps, vertical boards that lift the room, and a painted finish that reaches into every seam.
On a ceiling, the shortcut is letting the rows drift, so a gap widens across the room and shows from every chair. We check the line as we go and fasten each board into the framing, so the ceiling runs straight across in homes from Avalon to Downtown Alpharetta.
